The studio

We make things that are meant to be handled. Every vessel is thrown, trimmed and fired in our Lisbon studio, so it arrives with the small honest evidence of a hand: a thumbprint in the foot, a glaze that pooled where the wall was thin. We design slowly, fire carefully and keep our batches small enough to remember.

On the wheel

One lump, four moves.

Scroll to throw. A kilo and a half of stoneware becomes a vase in about six minutes, if the hands know what they are doing and the clay agrees.
